Wheatley Heights is a tiny hamlet within the town of Babylon. The community is primarily residential, but offers several points of interest for visitors. Industrialist William Vanderbilt II once built an estate in Wheatley Heights. Part of Wheatley Heights' charm is its proximity to the wonderful amenities, shopping, dining and activities in its many surrounding communities. Wheatley Heights is also convenient to the many activities in nearby Amityville, Melville and other hamlets within the town of Babylon.
